OLD BUSINESS

A.      Discussed the information gathered regarding installing a fence between the parking lot and the playground area, and in front of the concrete.  Concern was expressed that this would be an eyesore.  Tabled for possible discussion at a later date.

 

B.       Bob Kagarice reviewed his research and drawings for side goals in the gym.  Discussion period.

Ř       Motion by Eileen Parks to proceed with plans for ceiling mounted goals, one on each side of the court.  Seconded by Jerry Oswald.

A.      The Exploratory Art class has asked permission to paint a mural in the south high school hallway.

B.       Discussed whether to paint red and black stripes in the new hallway to match the others.  Tabled until summer.

 

C.       Discussed the Missouri Race to the Top Grant and Resolution.  This is a non-binding resolution which must be in place should we elect to participate.  (attached)

B.       Reviewed the Special Education Program Evaluation as completed by Norma Morris.  (attached)

C.       Discussed the January Board of Education Meeting.
