SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING –May 6, 2010, 8:00 p.m. (or immediately following Spring Concert)

Meeting called to order at 8:30 p.m. by Gene Morris, President.

Present: Gene Morris, Jerry Oswald, Eileen Parks, Tina Oerke, Lawanda Engelhardt, Bob Kagarice

Absent: Richie Eidson

Admin: Rick Stark, Superintendent; Kerri Loyd, Secretary

Guests: Shannon Brenneke, Wallstreet Insurance Group and Mark Ingelhart, Forrest T. Jones for MEUHP

AGENDA was reviewed.

Ø Motion by Jerry Oswald to approve the agenda as presented. Seconded by Lawanda Engelhardt.

BUSINESS

Shannon Brenneke, Wallstreet Insurance Group, presented health insurance proposal and discussed the available plan options. At 9:05 Mrs. Brenneke left the meeting and Mark Ingelhart entered. Mr. Ingelhart, Forrest T. Jones, presented his company’s health insurance proposal and options. Mr. Ingelhart left the meeting at 9:50 p.m.

After discussion the following decision is made:

Ø Motion by Eileen Parks to accept the Wallstreet Insurance Group proposal, Anthem BlueCross BlueShield: PPO at $1000 deductible and HSA at $2,500 deductible with a district contribution of $50 per month into each HSA account.
