Student of the Month for November 2019
Launch the media gallery 1 player The Ballard R-II School District is pleased to be working in conjunction with the Adrian Optimist Club to honor a Student of the Month for the 2019-2020 school year.
Student of the Month is selected by the staff of the Ballard R-II School District using the following criteria: attendance, attitude towards others and school, behavior, leadership, and improvement in or maintenance of good grades.
The Student of the Month for November is Senior Maecy Claiborne, daughter of Rusty and Sandra Claiborne. Ag Teacher Ms. Strodtman states, “Maecy always has a positive attitude and is a great role model.” Technology teacher, Cheryl Murchie states, “Maecy is always willing to help her classmates and teachers.She works hard to achieve the goals she has set for herself. She has a great personality that shows in her actions with everyone around her.”
For Maecy’s hard work in school, she is receiving a certificate of recognition from the Adrian Optimist Club and $20.00 in Adrian Chamber of Commerce “Chamber Bucks'” Pictured: Principal Dustin Bridges, Maecy Claiborne, Optimist member Alvin Griffin
