Honoring Our Veterans 2024
We are deeply grateful to all the Veterans who joined us today, giving us the chance to honor and thank you for your invaluable service to our country. The event began with the Pledge of Allegiance, led by our local Boy Scouts, followed by an insightful speech on flag etiquette from Gavin Schliem. Mrs. Nold shared the heartfelt meaning behind the MIA table, reminding us of those still missing. Our guest speaker, Ballard alumnus and veteran Jason Morris, delivered a powerful presentation on the purpose and duty of service. Special thanks to our kitchen staff for preparing and serving refreshments afterward. Most of all, thank you to our local Veterans for your dedication and sacrifice. We are truly blessed because of you.
