My name is Kelsi Bergen. I have been a teacher since 2011. I taught 2nd grade for one year in Jasper, Missouri. I then moved to Cambodia where I taught several different age ranges for 3 years. After that, I homeschooled my own daughters for two more years. I started teaching 5th grade here at Ballard in 2017. When I first started my teaching career, I was certain I would never teach anyone above third grade. Now, after teaching 5th graders for several years, I am so glad I jumped out of my comfort zone!
