Hello All,

My name is Micah Bergen, and I am the 7th-12th grade Math teacher here at Ballard R2.

Somethings to know about me:

I was born in Colorado, grew up in Missouri (Specifically Carthage), lived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (South East Asia) for four and a half years, and currently live in Ballard, MO with my wife Kelsi Bergen (formerly Loyd) and our four children--Abby, Lily, Melody, and Cooper.

I am passionate about teaching and enjoy the challenge of teaching math specifically. I hope to pass on my joy of mathematics to my students and forge great relationships with them and the Ballard community as a whole.

I will attempt, during my time at Ballard, to offer the tools necessary for all my students to succeed--in a way that understands math is sometimes like magic and is most certainly not "simple" or "obvious" to everyone.
