I graduated from Lakeland High School in 2001. I then spent over 10 years working with physically and mentally disabled in their homes. I finally realized the need to further my education and applied to State Fair Community College. During my last semester at SFCC, I applied for a Leadership Skills class and was one of 20 chosen out of more than 70 applicants. Our final included an 11 day trip to Europe where we toured 7 countries. I graduated with honors from SFCC and continued my Bachelor’s degree from Central Methodist University where I again graduated with honors. I completed my student teaching at Clinton Middle School in May of 2017. I began my first year of teaching here at Ballard in August 2017. I am blessed to be a part of this amazing community with wonderful students and their parents. I’ve been blessed with one beautiful daughter, Molly.
