I started my teaching career 25 years ago right here at Ballard, teaching combined 3rd & 4th grades and 7-12 Spanish. I have taught other grade levels during my career, and also served in district leadership capacities at my last two districts. I spent 12 years at Ray-Pec, where I taught 6th grade and was an Instructional Coach, Literacy Coach, and Curriculum Specialist. I spent the past 2 years at Butler as the Curriculum Director/HS Instructional Coach. I serve as the Ballard RootEd advisor for juniors and seniors at Ballard.  My role is to assist students with post graduate plans.  I also have two dogs, Pearl and Daisy, who are lab mixes, and a grandcat named Norman. In my free time I like to travel, work out, read, crochet, play golf, and spend time with friends and family.I work for ICEV education curriculum for my full time job.
