Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Ballard R-2 School District is pleased to be working in conjunction with the Adrian Optimist Club to honor a Student of the Month for the 2020-21 school year.
Student of the Month is selected by the staff of the Ballard R-2 School District using the following criteria: attendance, attitude towards others and school, behavior, leadership, and improvement in or maintenance of good grades.
The Student of the Month for September is senior Dylan Tippie, son of Staci Greer and Jimmy Greer.
Business Teacher Cheryl Murchie says; “Dylan is a very dependable person. I can ask him to do anything and I know he will do his very best to do it and do it well.” Language Arts Teacher Rachel Gregory states; "Dylan is proactive when getting his work done and strives to maintain an A average in all his classes and is likely to do any and all extra credit to reach even above an A." Math Teacher Micah Bergen says; “I worked with Dylan this summer, and I would say that we became closer than either one of us wanted to be, but I found out that he is a blast to work with and a great listener.”
For Dylan’s hard work in school, he is receiving a certificate of recognition from the Adrian Optimist Club and $20.00 in Adrian Chamber of Commerce “Chamber Bucks.”
