Student of the Month, October 2024
Congratulations to our two elementary students, winners of October Student of the Month. Paisley Miller and Dani Crump are excellent examples of students demonstrating our character traits of “Self Control and Responsibility”! Their teachers had the following words of encouragement and kindness.
"Paisley is always ready to lend a hand, whether to me or to another student. Paisley is quiet, but very supportive! She is my shadow, my little side-kick. Paisley is eager to learn, and is always asking for extra worksheets. Paisley is always encouraging to her friends in class, and has a great sense of creativity. She loves to color, and write. She is always one of the first to raise her hand when I ask the class a question. Paisley marches to the beat of her own drum and does not care what anyone else thinks. It will be fun to watch her grow through the rest of this year, and throughout all of her school years." -Ms. Strunk
And regarding Dani, "Dani is very deserving of the student of the month award. She shows responsibility in her school work and self control in her actions. I can always count on Dani to do her school work without being asked multiple times. She keeps track of her supplies and is always prepared for class. She shows self control in her actions toward her peers and is a kind and respectful role model to the younger classes. I enjoy having Dani in class and I know she is going to do well at anything she puts her mind to." -Mrs. Bergen. Mrs. Sallee says "Dani is always upbeat and wears a smile. When she misses work due to an absence I know I can count on her to get it completed and back to me in a timely manner if not the next day. She comes in ready to learn and always tries her best. She is always ready to lend a hand if a classmate should need help that she can provide."
This year, our winners for Student of the Month from the elementary grades will receive a $15.00 gift card donated by a local parent. Thank you for the commitment to our community and the donation for our students.
